Jenny Shackleton’s Bridal Photography at Laguna Gloria

Laguna Gloria is a classic venue for a wedding. Jenny chose to shoot her bridal photos at Laguna Gloria on the day of her wedding. We had ten minutes to squeeze these in before the wedding. We posed her quickly and shot simultaneously from different angles like paparrazzi with family members watching. It did somehow seem appropriate for Jenny Star who has since moved off to Hollywood. Remember, Jenny is a HUGE Britney Spears fan (check out their engagement photography here). So, our influence for this first bridal photo was Britney’s ad for her Fantasy perfume. Signature Bridal Salon (where Jenny purchased the dress) liked the photo so much they asked to use it in their salon for advertising. Aw, shucks, thanks guys :) And best of luck to Jenny and Adam out there in Los Angeles.

Sarah+Bo’s Elegant Outdoor Wedding at Fair Oaks Manor

For Austin wedding photographers, finding a couple like Sarah and Bo is like finding the holy grail. They are elegant, photogenic and good-natured. You can see where they get it from because their family and friends were such a pleasure to photograph, too. It was a perfect June evening for this pictaresque couple’s nuptials at Fair Oaks Manor.

No, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. Sae Cho decided to get super creative with the camera on these photos. The ghostly look came out really cool. Can you find the hiding ghosts?

Jenny Star + Adam’s Movie Star Engagement Photography in Austin

Jenny Star Shackleton is going to be a movie star. How could she not? It is literally her middle name :) She and Adam are a stunning looking couple. They posed like they were in a Britney Spears perfume ad in their Austin engagement photography session. Totally appropriate considering Jenny Star f—ing LOVES Britney! And who can blame her? I must admit, I secretly listen to Lady Spears sometimes when I’m getting my blog on. Though these days it’s something more like David Gray or Jack Johnson. Anyway, I digress. We started out at the Dobie because that’s where they met. They both went to the University of Texas-Austin so we got some sweet garden shots there. Then off to Pease Park where we dove into some dark-romantic-fantasy shots. Finally, we found ourselves in downtown Austin where the two got lucky (not really, that’s just what the sign says). Nicole + Cody’s Wedding at Chapel Dulcinea and Tuscan Hall

Chapel Dulcinea is a gorgeous, unique outdoor chapel in Austin. So it seemed the perfect choice for this gorgeous, unique couple. This is our second wedding to photograph here. The love and affection between these two was so pervasive and infectious. Their family and friends seemed to get wrapped up in it as well. And, boy, do these folks know how to have a good time. Their reception at the Tuscan Hall was filled with good music, laughter and lots of dancing. If you haven’t checked out Nicole and Cody’s engagement session, you can look at a few of our faves here.

Ok, so you can tell by the date that I am WAY behind on blog posts but I am catching up quickly now. Forgive me :)

I absolutely love this quote. It seems so true to me. This is one of the many poignant plaques on the walls at Chapel Dulcinea. A perfect way to end this post.
