She wanted classic bridal photos at the Capitol and some photos with her boots on at Moonshine in Austin. She posed and played for Sae Cho’s camera. And then there were the photos she didn’t know I was taking. Like this first one.
Umlauf Gardens was the serene and artsy backdrop for Carrie and Justin’s beautiful and touching wedding. The couple was radiant, the food was some of the best we have ever seen at a wedding and the grooms toast brought a tear to my eyes. They decided on a ‘first look’ photo shoot before the wedding, which we always LOVE to do. They even had a scavenger hunt! That’s the first time we’ve seen that at a wedding. Kindred Oaks was the beautiful background for this sweet, serene couple’s nuptials. This wedding was gorgeous outside and inside, just like Lisa and Emil. South Congress in Austin is a mecca for wedding photographers. We loved shooting Carrie and Justin’s engagement photography from evening into the night. Like I said, Austin at night is downright sultry. Check out the last couple of photos

Austin is such a romantic city. Engagement photography is natural here. Sunset is particularly romantic in Austin and nighttime can be downright sultry. Butler Park was the perfect, laid back location to photograph Emil and Lisa. These are two of the sweetest people we have ever had the pleasure to photograph. Natural and serene in front of the camera, these two are so obviously smitten…it’s beautiful. Lisa cracked me up when she caught herself in a fake smile, “I’m totally cheesing!” Hope you don’t mind if I steal that one from you, girl. Tell me those last two photos aren’t totally hot.
